What Should I Do To Reduce Swelling And Pain In The Foot After My Second Toe Osteotomy Metatarsal Surgery ?

i had second toe osteotomy metatarsal surgery , may 9, doctor took and x tray, said the bone shift a little, i was told by him the bone will fall back inplace will on;y take a longer time to heel , i have a bump on the front of mu foot swelling and pain what can i do to reduce swelling and pain and is this the right comment made by him

As practically 2 months passed and pain and swelling is still there.It may be due to,
There is infection take place or
possibility of osteomyelitis.
Consult orthopedic and seek his advice.
