What Should Be Done After A Minor Injury On Temple?

I hit my left temple when I walked into a corner of a glass shelf. I do not recall any signs of disorientation, dizziness, or confusion. I wouldn t say I ve experienced any symptoms other than soreness, slight pain, and a bump the size of a nickle. I didn t seek medical attention but I m nervous about any complications surrounding getting hit in the temple. Is there anything else I could other than ice/heat and drink water?

Hello,
This is common feeling after being hit on head. I can assure you that if there is no feeling of vomitting, dizziness and loss of consciousness than you can easily wait for some time. You do not need to take any medicine or any investigation. But keep a watch on all symptoms. if in between there is any such symptoms than you should see a doctor. From your description it looks to me that it is not very serious injury and you just need observation and nothing else at this time. Let me know if you want to any thing else.
Thanks
