What Should Be Done For The Child Having Ear Pain Prescribed Cetrizine And Ibugesic Syrup?
child 3.5year old having cough n fever.......doctor prescribed him Lotemp for fever n Actifed DM for cough...on Friday 3-jan-2013.
yesterday he complain a pain in his left ear...we refer an ENT specialist....he referred CETIRIZINE Syrup I.P.
and Ibugesic Plus and Roxid-75 and told that don't give him previous medicines..i m confused..what to do

I understand your concern for your mother.
Sometimes , an upper respiratory tract infection also leads to pain in ear.
Since your doctor has evaluated her ear , specially an ENT Specialist , i think you should give her these medications.
I f not relieved in next 3 days , you should revisit them.
