What Should Be Done If The Regular Medication Is Taken Double Dosage By Mistake?

I accidently took 2 days worth of my morning medications. They are Venlafaxine HCL ER 150 MG Capsules, bupropion HCL SR 200 mg tab., Lyrica 150 mg cap, and atenolol 25 mg tab. I am feeling pretty gittery and ancious. The first batch was at 11:00am and the second at about 1:00pm. Should I be concerned or just wait it out. Sorry for the spelling My mind is going so fast so I can t think straight.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,
welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Lethal or harmful doses of above mentioned medicines (Venlafaxine, bupropion, Lyrica and atenolol) are very high compare to accidental intake by you.

In my opinion no need to worry. Today it is better to skip night doses (if any). Same time inform your treating psychiatrist regarding current incidence of accidental intake of double dose.

Regards,
