What Should Be Done To Heal Recurring And Enlarging Abscess In The Area Of Bcg Vaccination?

Hi. My baby is 5 months old. She had her bcg vaccination at 2 days old. After 2 months an abscess formed. It burst 3 weeks ago whilst we are away on holiday. A lot of green puss came out. We kept it clean and dry. It scabbed over but keeps opening and clear bloody liquid comes out. The last time it did opened my husband squeezed it even though I told him not too. Now the abscess is very red and bigger. The redness has also spread to the surrounding area of the arm. It seems aggravated and my husband wants to squeeze it more.... What should I do to help/ heal it? Please help because my husband and I disagree on what to do and I am very worried. Thank you

Hi
Thanks for your query.
Thus is BCG adenitis.
I suggest you to get him exined by doctor as he may need a course of antibiotic for this.
Please do not squeeze ut of your own.
Hope this helps.
