What Should Be One To Bring Down Fever And Cough In A Child?

My kid suffering with wet cough and fever up to 102. He went through antibiotics 15 days back but fever came back again. We just now gave crosin 7.5 ml when fever was on 100. But bit didn't come down and fever is now on 102 after 30 mins. What should we do, can we IMOL now?

Clinically looks like fresh viral infection. Though he needs to be examined to rule out any bacterial focus of infection. After 1 hour of crocin you can give syp meftal p if required to reduce fever
