What Should Be The Interval Between HIV Tests?

hi i got tested for HIV the very first time roughly at least 3 months after my last casual contact (Jan 2006). it turned out negative. after a year (May 2007), i had been tested again and it resulted negative as well. are these intervals okay? is it already safe to say that i am negative to HIV? thanks!

Hi
It is safe to say that you are free from HIV.
You are having still doubt you can take a NAT(nucleic acid amplification test) which is almost confirmative.
All the best
