What Should Be The Time Gap Between Eating Snack And Taking The Dose Of Byetta?

After eating a snack, how long should a patient wait before he can take his dose of Byetta after the snack. He is on it BID…..had his morning dose and meals etc. Snacked late afternoon and wants to take his evening Byetta , wait an hour and have his dinner. How long should he wait after eating to take Byetta?

Byetta should be taken within 60 minutes after taking your meals. This is the recommended way to take your this drug. Besides using drugs to control your diabetes, please exercise and limiting you intake of sugars is also helpful. regular check up and adherence to treatment plan helps prevent complications.
