What Should Be The Treatment For Small Ovarian Cyst?
Hi doctor I have been getting pregnancy symptoms for almost two months now, frequents urination, changes in appetite, cramps, the works, however they have happened on and off as in one week they're there n the next they aren't except for the shooting pain in my right arm and leg and the frequent urination which haven't stopped. My period changed shortening to 3 days instead of seven and ended light brownish then light pink. I went to my OBGYN who did a transvaginal ultrasound which shows no sign of a pregnancy but a ovarian cysts which he claims are too small to cause these symptoms he refuses to do bloods because of this. I know my body and I am very worried because this is mad weird and I dont know what else to do.
Hi, thank you for asking Healthcare Magic. Apart from pregnancy, some conditions can present with symptoms you just listed. To clear off the issue of pregnancy, I would suggest you do a home pregnancy test to be sure of what is happening. Generally, small and asymptomatic ovarian cysts are treated conservative. They may disappear on their own. Only complicated and larger cysts needs surgical treatment.
I hope that answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. We will be delighted to answer more questions from you. I wish you good health
