What Supplements Can I Take Along With Senna Supplements For Constipation?

I am taking senna supplements for constipation, and it's working well. I'm 58 years old, and constipation is becoming an increasing problem for me. What should I look out for when taking senna?

Hi. Senna supplements irritate the lining of the bowel causing a laxative effect. Although it is effective , Senna is often sold as an herbal supplement. There are no regulated manufacturing standards. I would advise you to take this twice a week , rest of the times try other laxatives to avoid habituation with any single product. You may not need any supplements if there are not much of loose motions. One has to titrate the doses as needed on personal basis.
