General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Usage of montec results in side effects like:
- Upper respiratory infection, sore throat, fever, cough, headache
- Stomach pain, diarrhea
- Earache or ear infections, sinus infections are common

Possible eye infections are rare. It might be due to allergy or any underlying sinus infection. I advise you to continue the same medication prescribed by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
