Hi,

What I understand by the history and MRI results is that there tendonitis present. Pain killers are for symptomatic relief. Usually pain killers are administered in night so person gets good sleep. Usually people take it the other way.

Consume the pain killers and continue to use the limb. This act by the people leads to increase in the symptoms and injury to the soft tissue never heals and increase more.

The first foremost thing to do is, when consumed pain killers please do not use the limb and allow it to rest overnight. Next thing is you haven't mentioned if you have undergone any physiotherapy. As physiotherapy plays an important role in taking care of the tendonitis.

Improving the muscle strength will help allowing less pressure on the involved tendon and allow it to heal. Also, if left ignored this injury can land up to surgery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
