Hi, my 3 year old daughter has a blister in the corner of her lip... they seem to be coming out on both sides, they dry and heal and come back again... thats been going on for almost over a month... I took her to the dr he gave her antibiotic but didnt work... Now I dont know what to do.. since it keeps progressing...
Hi, welcome to HCM. Blisters on corners of lip is called cheilitis. Cheilitis is mainly due to multivitamin deficiency or superficial infection at corners of lip. Since, you have already given antibiotics, there is no need to give antibiotics now. In my opinion, you should give syrup bevon 5 ml two times a day for 1 month and apply Zytee lotion locally at the corners of lip. Since, our mouth is constantly in function that is why it takes more time to heal. It should take around 10 days to completely heal. I hope this has helped you. Take care.
