What To Do For My Cervical Spinal Cord Stenosis?

I have cervical mild spinal cord stenosis c3-7, bilateral radiculopathy and having sleep onset myoclonus and brain zaps (not connected to SSRI as never taken) my neurologist has discharged me and says my neck is normal for age and just being hypervigilant. No sleep what can I do?

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

I read carefully your question and understand your concern.

A mild stenosis is not a matter of spinal surgery. But, it can cause chronic pain in this region.

For this reason, holding a cervical collar may help.

Besides, I would recommend starting gabapentine or pregabaline, which would help improve the pain and also reduce the myoclonus.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
