Hi,
Emergency contraceptive pill contains excess hormone and this disturbs the hormonal balance and thus causes delayed periods. Nausea can also be a side effect. If you have had the intercourse during the latter half of the cycle, you are naturally safe since you were in the safe period; moreover, you took additional protection through the pill. You can expect a period delay of a week or two, yet, if you do not see your period even after ten days, please get further help from an expert. Hope this helps.
