What To Do For Soreness In Knees Caused By Hitting Knees After Both Knees Were Replaced?

I HAVE HAD BOTH KNEES TOTAL REPLACEMENT. ABOUT 5 WEEKS AFTER SURGERY, I FELL AND HIT BOTH KNEES ON THE FLOOR. I STILL HAVE GOOD BEND AND EXTENSION. BUT MY KNEES ARE STILL REALLY SORE. MY SURGEON SAID IT MAY TAKE 6-9 MONTHS FOR TOTAL HEALING. I ICE, STILL DO EXERCISES AND TAKE TYLANOL. YPUR OPINION. THANKS, WAYNE

You have tobe careful while walking. Avoid fall. Continue medication. Physiiotherapy and walking will help you. When surgeon has said 6to 9 month you have to wait.There is no much scope left now. Youcan do one more MRI of your both knees.Consult the surgeon after nine months.
