What To Do For The Cold And Nose Congestion?

Iam 46 years old ,a week ago i had a cold not a very bad one , after i started healing like 2 days ago i felt like my smelling is weak ,i have to put my nose in something to be able to smell a little bit.i always had a weak sense of a smell and it happened to me before when i had a bad cold but this time my cold didnt affect my nose i wasnt feeling conjected.one other thing that happened on the nigt before this partial lost of smell is that i cleaned my shed wich i didnt clean for many years,and i used bleach mixed with clothes detergent that i mixed my self and scrubbed the very dirty shed .could it be the reason ?I exeperienced loss of smell in the past while i was having a cold and it came back after a while but this time i am not sure ,i am worried i cant sleep could you please help .i was just starting to recover from almost 1 year of anxiety and now this whole thing is making me anxiousagain .thank you

Loss of smell could be due to viral cold, strong fumes destroying the sense of smell receptors.

As such, in present status, your are fine, need not to be worried and not to be anxious about your loss of smell. not every common cold episodes associated with loss of smell.
