What To Do For The Fever Followed By Vaccination?

Yesterday we had given MMR vaccination for kid. She is 15 months old.

now she is getting fever. Her temperaure is around 101.7

we gave her calpol but the temperature increases after 1 hr of giving her the drug

already given her 4 doses at 6 hrs interval

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

Paracetamol can be given in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly that too only if fever is more than 100F. I suggest not using combination medicines for fever, especially with Paracetamol. So you can give paracetamol in appropriate dose every 4th hourly.
