What To Do For The Severe Stomach Pain In Child?
Q.my daughter is 6yrs,weight-18 kilo,height-3 2 ,last year on november she was suffered with E.coli infection, from last few days she was complaining stomach pain,in stool report there is entameaba histolytica cysts seen,after doctor s advise she is taking o2h 250g twice a day,in two days after taking the medicine she is vomiting and complaining severe stomach pain,what to do?

Helo, thank you for posting your query here. Your daughter seems to be having a side effect of the antibiotic and antiparasite medication (o2h) she took.
I suggest you give her Lansoprazole 15mg once a day before food for 7 days to help with the gastritis. For vomiting she can take Ondansetron 2 mg half an hour before food if she feels nauseous.
She had only E. hitolytica cysts in the stool which ddo not have to be treated. only the trophozoite form is infective and needs treatment. Stop the o2h if you are still using it
