What To Do If Am Advised To Stop Obimet During Pregnancy?
I am 30 years old, 5 inch 2 cm height, 58 kg weight with 4 months pregnancy. I have high insulin level, hence Dr. prescribed me Obimet Sr, 500 before my pregnancy and iam continue it till. Now I am under the supervision of another Dr. She asked me to stop the obimet because according to her it may harmful the baby. I am in confusion. What should i do?

i understand your concern
in my opinion obimet is a safe medication and can be continued in pregnancy.
in my clinic i will be following many diabetic and prediabetic patients who are taking obimet and conceived.
all of them had very good out come.
latest clinical studies are also supporting to continue obimet even during pregnancy.
