Hi,

The stomach pain you are experiencing is a side effect of taking prednisone.

I suggest to take:
- omeprazole and antiacids to relieve the pain
- be careful with food you eat
- eat often, small portions and slowly
- do not lay down immediately after eating
- look at your stool; if you notice they changed color (black or reddish), report it to your doctor
- have your dinner at least 4 hours before bedtime

All the best!
