i HAVE SYMPTOMS OF THE ONSET OF MACULAR DEGENERATION. THE WORLD SEEMS "DARK". i SEE WAVY LINES ALONG THE EDGES OF VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL LINES - FOR EXAMPLE: TELEPHONE POLES, CLOTHESLINES, ETC. I LIVE IN THE CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE AREA AND WOULD LIKE A RECOMMENDATION FOR AN OPHTHALMOLOGIST WHO IS EXPERIENCED IN SOME OF THE NEW TECHNIQUES i AM TOLD EXIST. CAN YOU HELP?

For macular degeneration no new treatment or technique is available till now. You can take antioxidant and systemic steroid which is followed now. you can attend any advance eye center and consult.
