What To Do If The Lower Portion Of Esophagus Showed White Spots And Doctor Is Supecting Candida After EGD While On Treatment For GERD?

I had EGD done a few days ago. The lower portion of the esophagus showed some white spots which the MD thought could be Candida. I am waiting on the pathology report. Is there anything that I can do in the meantime.
I am diabetic,( on Metformin and glucotrol) , hypertensive , ( 0n Azor and Atenolol) and taking Lipitor. I am also taking Prevacid because of GERD.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
You are patient of GERD, besides the diabetis, hypertension. Your doctor found some white spots at the lower portion of the esophagus.
You need not worry in the mean while, any how it is sent for the invstigation, let the result come, then you can have the treatment.
Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods.
Keep the hypertension, and diabetic by drugs and diet, by having regular check ups.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
