What To For The Breathing Issues Of My Child?

My son aged 4 keeps gasping for breath maybe once every hour, he gets out of breath when running around the park, and sometimes when he talks for long periods of time, could this be asthma? The gasping only seems to happen in the winter time. Thankyou.
