Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Your doctor may prescribe a steroid nasal spray. This can help to reduce swelling and inflammation and may ease your child’s symptoms. Your doctor may suggest that you try a nasal spray before you think about surgery. If the adenoids are affecting your child’s day-to-day life and development, your doctor may refer you to an ENT surgeon to discuss an operation to remove them.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
