What Treatment Is Suggested For Blood Sugar Level Which Is 203?
Hi my mom is 80 yrs. old, she is on insulin, her blood sugar level was 302 this morning, and now it's 203, she is on insulin, what can i give her to get her blood sugar level down. She also has a pace maker and has stage 4 gastrointestinal cancer. I'm worried she might faint, she is lethargic today and unsteady when she walks.

Hello,
At her age,not much benegpfit would accrue to the patient by drastically reducing the blood sugar levels.
Even if she has levels of 180-200,it is all right.
Any attempt to reduce the sugar levels can result n hypoglycemic attack which can be detrimental for her.
