What Treatment Is Suggested For Chest Pain And Spasm At Back ?
I am a 43 year old female. For the last 3-4 days I have been experiencing pain just below my sternum, belching, difficulty breathing, chest tightness, and chills. It appears to be aggravated by food and drink. Nothing makes it better. It is worse when sitting or lying down. The pain has moved from the right side to the left side. I am now having back spasms, and spasms in my right shoulder. I have not eaten since 9AM this morning because it's worse when I eat/drink. However, the chest pain is not going away. My resting heart rate is 96. It has been that way all day. Blood pressure is normal. I have had GI issues and 2 TIA's. They are trying to figure out the GI issues, but they have thought I may have IBS at one time. or GERD. Omeprazole does not work. Tums do not work. Heart disease and GI issues run in my family.

I really appreciate your concern, this is very typical history of GERD, you said that Omeprazole is not working well, but in fact this drug gives very good response only matter the right dose and time these has to be consider, "Omeprazole 40 mg" should be taken at evening time because at this time the acid secretion is more in stomach area, and this has to be taken for six weeks, along with this better to have Domeperidone tab. divide your meal in three parts, no coffee, alcohol, smoking prior to bed, have a alkali diet keep anxiety level nil, this will come around soon have nice time
