What Treatment Is Suggested For Dull Ache On The Left Side Of The Neck & Face?

Hi I have had a dull ache on the left side of my neck and a dull ache in the left side of my face (cheek mouth and eyebrows. I went to doc today and she could not figure out what this could be can you help me. I am a 35 YO female overweight, my bp was 110/76, heartrate was also normal.

Hello,

As the pain in the neck radiating to the face can be involvement of the PNS and CN. We need to perform an MRI. For now, you can use the cervical collar and use hot water fermentation for the neck region. Any disturbance in the peripheral Nervous system may lead to the symptoms of pain in the neck. The radiating pain towards the face can be a cranial nerve symptom.

In the case with a neck collar and hot water fermentation over the neck the pain comes down and the radiating symptoms then we may not have to worry about as it could be an accessory symptom. But if it doesn't we need to examine the cranial nerve in separate.
