Hi, my son was hospitalized yesterday because of typhoid fever, the nurse said the stage is beginning. how long he will stay in the hospital? or can we continue the medication at home after he was fully recovered? because the doctor said we ll going to stay there for 5-7days.. I cant stay any longer in hospital..

If the diagnosis of typhoid fever is confirmed and once temperature touches normal you can continue the same medicine at your home with the advice of your doctor.
the treatment suggested for typhoid fever is ciprofloxacin.
