What Treatment Should I Go As Having Heavy Periods And Bloating?

hello, I had an iud for about 10 months and since having it, my body was reacting very negatively. Heavy periods, unbearable cramps, spotting. Finally after having my period for 1.5 months, I had the iud taken out but had an appointment at the gynecologist to check everything. She did an ultra sound and it looked like early pregnancy, but we did a pregnancy test which came back negative. Since having had my period for such an extended time, I don t know when to expect my next period, but I have been having on and off headaches for two weeks now and bloating. Could the test have been wrong? Otherwise, what could this be?

Hi,

Do another UPT and go for a follow up scan when your bleeding stops. It is common to bleed during IUD usage. Have a proper follow up and approach gynecologist if you have heavy bleeding. Take Iron supplements. T. Livogen once daily to compensate the iron loss due to bleeding. Take iron rich food like spinach, Chicken and protein rich food. Also, rule out any chances of white discharge due to PID with help of your gynecologist.
