My daughter is13 years old. For the past 2 weeks she has had a recurring fever. She is lethargic and complaining of aches and pains when the fever is present. She has had a period of 6 days with no symptoms or fever in between but then the fever has come back. She seems to be getting these symptoms more frequently lately.

She needs to be investigated for - - Dental abscess /tonsillitis, malaria ,recurrent viral fever etc. - please consult a physician for physical check up & advice for necessery investigations. This will be followed by specific treatment. usually, suitable antibiotic/antimalerial medicines along with paracetamol / anti inflammatory drugs, vitamin B complex and rest are advised to patient while fever, - cold sponging, lot of fluids by mouth, light nourishing diet are helpful. - a resistance building is to be followed by high protein, vitamin, iron, calcium rich diet with sufficient calories & healthy life style. Thanks
