I am 35 yrs old, 5'10", 190 lbs white male. I also have Sarcoidosis but it has been in remission for almost 2 years and I had a check up 4 months ago with my lung specialist. Last Wednesday I was leaving early from work to go on vacation when I started getting a dull pain in my chest. I also felt like somthing was pushing my chest in. I finally left and went home and lied down because I also felt weak. After lying down for 20 minutes or so the pain started to subside. I have been very fatigue since but I still able to do normal activities. It has been very trying at work over the past few months and I wonder if it is stress related. I don't want to bother my doctor if it is just that and since it happend last week.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Yes, possibility of stress and anxiety related symptoms is more likely in your case. Your medical examination I'd normal just 1 week back. So no need to worry for major lung related diseases for your current symptoms. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated. Sometimes heartburn can also cause similar symptoms. So take pantoprazole tablet on empty stomach. Avoid hot and spicy food. Don't worry, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
