What Would Be The Survival Chances Of A Person Suffering From Renal Failure,leg Amputated And Paralyzed ?

my boyfriend who did not take care of his diabetes, now has renal failure, has had a leg amputated, and is paralised from the waist down. i know that his prognosis is not good, but no one will commit to how long he has to live, he asks me, but I cannot answer his question.

Hi my dear,

Committing about the longevity of life for a patient is not possible as there are many contributing factors.

If your boyfriend asks you, the only answer is "Only God knows it".

I'd suggest to follow the doctor's advise and to try hard optimizing blood sugar levels. Once they are optimized, hopefully, he won't have huge/severe problems but mild ones.
