Hi.. Pharmocologically Induced Penile Erection test also known as PIPE test is a special test to know the cause for erectile dysfunction.. In this test a injection of a drug is given. The drug is known to cause dilatation of the blood vessels.. Following the injection, the erectile functions is assessed. This test will help in knowing if the condition is due to a inadequated blood supply or due to neurological problem and accordingly the treatment is planned...
