When Can One Take A Shower After Removal Of Warts From The Face And Neck?

Hi. I just had my warts on face and neck removed -cauterized. How long before I can take a shower? I want to shampoo my hair too but if I do I know I will have my face and neck wet. How many days should I not shower cause I m scared It will get infected.

Hello,

After cautery It is very important to keep your wound clean with soap and water to prevent infection. You may cover it with a small bandage to protect it for a few days. If the bandage gets wet, change it with a clean, dry bandage. So don't make it wet or cover it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
