When Can One Try To Concevie After Stopping Wysolone And Azithral?
Hi, I have been diagnosed with atopic dermatitis since I was 12 years old. I am now 27. Recently I developed a lot of rashes which caused irritation. The dermatologist advised me to take Wysolone and Azithral along with a skin cream and warned that I shouldn t take it if I am trying to get pregnant. I want to know how long can I wait after my dosage of these medicines is over in order to try to conceive again?

It would depend on the elimination time of the medication from the system.
The half life of a drug is the time it takes for the amount of medication in the system to decrease by half.
It can take 3 to 4 half lives to completely eliminate a drug.
Wysolone would be eliminated in approximately 16 hours max and azithral in 11 days (it has a very long half life ).
After this time, it would be safe to try to conceive.
