When Do Periods Begin After Taking Deviry?

My periods are irregular. I had my last period on 5th March after a duration of 38 days. On 31st March I and my bf were hanging around. We did not have sex but I am freaking out for fear of pregnancy. I did urine pregnancy test 16 days after the incident and it was negative. I took deviry for 5 days twice a day and now it s been 3 days. Till when should I get my periods? And do I need to take pregnancy test again? I had done test 2 weeks after the incident before. Kindly help.

Hi,

As you have irregular cycles, it's difficult to calculate your ovulation day. Get serum beta hCG blood test to confirm pregnancy. After stopping tab Deviry within 7 to 10 days, periods will come.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Soumya, OBGYN
