When Does Menstruation Start Upon Stopping Depotrust?

i used depotrust for almost 3 years, march 27, i should have another shot but i didn t take it anymore. question is, when am i supposed to have my regular menstruation period? would it be right away or will it take months for me to have regular period? thank you.

Hi,

If you have stopped depotrust, your fertility is likely to return in about 10-12 months. Yes, it takes time but individual differences can be there. You may get normal periods in 3-12 months after the last depotrust you took.

If it takes more time, consult your gynecologist, you may need medications & treatment.
