first period usually comes in pubertal age ,around 13-14 yrs
it may start earlier or later
if you are healthy and no medical problem ,nothing to worry about the onset of oeriod

The normal age for onset of puberty is 9 to 14 years. The first sign is thelarchy( development of breasts), followed by pubic hair growth, axillary hair , growth spurt and then menarchy( periods).How old are you?
