When Should Fluvoxamine Be Taken?

My son was just put on Fluvoxamine and I wonder when he should take it? I gave it to him yesterday in the afternoon and it seem to make him feel a lot worse than usual. He is non verbal and artistic so when he is feeling bad it is hard for him to communicate. So I was wondering if I could give it to him at night because on the bottle it just says to take one a day? Thanks for any help you can give me.
