When Should My Voice Box Be Back To Normal?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I had a scope of my stomach last Friday, which was 3 days ago. I knowticed I had to caugh up some chest mucus, but also been unable to talk. It is like my larinex box was irretated. When should my voice box be back to normal so I can speak?

Hello,

Your symptoms could be suggestive of local irritation or an infection (viral infection). I recommend taking oral antiseptic spray and have some rest for a couple of days. I think that you are going to improve spontaneously in a couple of days.
