When To Do The Metabolic Test On A Newborn Baby?
within how many days new born screening & metabolic test can be done?
I have stored stem cell in lab & they are providing me facility of these test for free of cost.My baby is 29 days old. As per literature on internet these test should be done within seven days but the lab persons are telling us that these test can be done during 45 days also. They are trying to hide mistake.

These tests diagnose inborn errors of metabolism and can be done any time.
There is question of mistake or hiding.There is alteration of results if they are not done within 7 days of life.
