When Will Haematuria Go After A Laser Ureteral Stone Surgery?

Hi. I just laser uretral stone surgery, and doctor has placed a stent in ....surgery was done n Saturday feb 8th. I need to know if I should have been prescribed antibiotics along with pain medication or not. Also how LNG will it take for the hematuria to go away. Thanks in advance to your response

Hello,

Sometimes, there is no need to start antibiotics if no infection is present. So, do not worry about this part. Hematuria will last until the urinary pathways will not get lacerated from the stones any longer and/or when their mucosa (inner layer) will get completely regenerated.
