When Would It Be Safe To Return To Normal Physical Activity After A Lapotomy?
Hello, When would it be safe to return to normal physical activity after a lapotomy. I am required to complete a physical abilities test for Corrections, that involves max cardio vascular actives, for 2min 50 seconds. I am 37 year old, female, physically fit prior to surgery. Thank-you for your time
Its always safe to to return to physical activity at least 6 weeks post laprotomy to avoid complications pertaining to scar rupture. Its always safe to have pass the physical abilities test that involve cardiovascular exercises. for 2 min and 50 secs. The return can be safe in presence of physically being fit prior to surgery.I advise you to have a complete cardiac and abdominal evaluation in the form of 2 dimensional echocardiography and ultrasonography prior to being fully physically fit outside.Post your further queries if any.Consult your cardiologist for further expert management. Thank you.
