Where Can I Get Discount On Certain Tests Like CECT Thorax, TSH, RA, ECHO, D-Dimer And BN Levels?
Hello my mother is asthmatic an has severe lung infection ( doc says there are small patches in her lungs or probably holes -x ray has shown ), her doctor who is a pulmonologist has prescribed certain tests like CECT Thorax, Total IgE levels, TSH,RA,ANA,ENA (Qualitative), ECHO, D-Dimer and BN levels, pls tell me if these are valid and costs and where should I go for the tests where I can get discount ? thanks
Hello, I would like to tell you that without taking proper history and examining the patient, no body can tell you that what test is required and what not. Definitely, these are are expensive and personally I would like to go step by step, Like if ANA is positive than only ENA is meaningful. But still, as I donot know the severity of the disease and actual condition of the patient, I would like to advice you that if you are skeptical, than go for another opinion from a physician in your city who can actually see the patient. For discount, you can request a discount letter from your physician, or can go to local govt. or charitable hospital. I could be help you if you can tell me about your city. Hope this will help
