My husband who is 30 years old, is 5'8 height and weighs 80kg, has a constant acidity problem. He was in the army earlier, even then he had acidity but since he has left army and has adopted a sedentry lifestyle it has worsened. His barely exercises now. He is a non smoker and drinks occasionaly, and is a preffered non vegeterian. What type of food would be suitable to avoid acidity. He takes eno very reguraly and also omiperasol and zintac a lot.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Noted the history about your husband and understood the concerns.
Since there is acidity related problems the type of food does not matter much if the spices and oil are in control to give a just taste so that he can continue his non-veg food.
Taking Omeprazole and Ranitidine off and on is not the preferred treatment unless a proper upper GI endoscopy is done to know the exact diagnosis so that any additional management can be done such as adding proper antacid. Domperidone and so on as per the findings.
Also see for any stress or anxiety which needs to be addressed.
Small frequent diets too help a lot and stopping alcohol is a better option.
