Which Is The Safer Vaccination DTAP Or DTWP?

Hello Doctor, 3 dose- It s due for my daughter(16 weeks), for the 1st we went with painless injection - she was a happy baby even after the injection and for the 2nd dose the DTAP vaccination was not available thus we were left with no choice but to get her vaccinated with the regular DTWP, she had high fever, excessive crying and very febrile. Now for the 3rd dose we badly want to go for the DTAP but all hospitals say it s not available moreover now I am so doubtful as why this shortage is??? May be because it s unsafe for infants??? If no, What do you suggest??? should we wait for the DTAP or give my girl a package of pain and sickness with the regular DTWP(painful) injection??? My daughter got her 2nd dose on 3rd March 2014... Pls help us...

thanx for the query.
dont worry both the vaccines are safe. its just , DTwP is more effective then DTaP.
its just that fever and pain are more common with the whole vaccine. you can go for the whole vaccine also , what you need to do is give pcm according to weight for sometime and cold pack on injection site. and bye the way DPaT is now available.
