Which Medicine Can Be Taken For Regular Cold And Cough Problems?

hi doctor , I am having always the cold and cough problem ,some one suggested me to take the aziwok 500 for 3 day one each ,it is o.k. to take this medicine ? or what medicine you will suggest for cold and cough problem . I did all the tests of blood , chest , all thing are normal I have only thyroid losing weight problem and little cholesterol in blood ? what u will suggest to do?

Aziwok i.e. azithromycin 500 mg is very good antibiotic for cold and cough ,but if it is due to infection.
But it seems that you may have allergy.
The reason of allergy may be dust , mold , seasonal rhinitis ( mite or hay) ,pollen, sudden increase or decrease of temperature , humidity .
All allergen usually causes bronchoconstriction and this develops cold and cough .
Usually patient feels congestion in chest with whistling sound in chest ( during breathing).
When such type of patient visit to me I usually prescribe them monteleukast + bambuterol ( combo pack ) tablets twice in day till symptoms last.
I don't prescribe antibiotics if infection do not present.
These are prescription medicine so please consult a physician and get his opinion.
