Both lactogen and dexolac are established brands. lactogen on one hand is very old and time tested. But it is said to be heavy on the babies stomach and a bit more constipating when compared to dexolac. Being established baby foods, both are proven harmless.
You can give a trial of both and check as per your child's taste and corresponding bowel motion for the next few days. Whichever is better, you can continue. In my personal experience, mothers are more satisfied with dexolac, but taste is a problem for many babies.
