What is the higher and lower limit (systolic/diastolic) for good blood pressure ? My blood pressure taken on 05.04.2011 was 130/73 mmHg, heart rate 68 pulse per minute. Glucose level 9.8 mmol/L after breakfast with sugarless beverage and biscuits. Please enlighten. Thanks. Wish you good health. - Sincerely, Subramaniam.

Dear Subramanian,I am sorry but I do not know the reason for this. The normal blood pressure higher limit is 140/90 in absence of any other illness.Lower limit varies on individual basis, means somebody may have systolic 100 for whole life without any problem.Your sugar in bit on higher side.Any time of day the random blood sugar should be less then 150mg/dl.Please get your fasting as well as postprandial 2 hours sugar checked to confirm.Other wise there is nothing to worry, bye and take care.
